Me: "I-55 Internet Services. This is Jason speaking, how may I help you?"

Customer: "My dsl is down."

Me: "Ok, let me look up your account.....(dum de dum dum dum) Now, lets check the stats on your modem. What are the lights doing on it?"

Customer: "Nothing."

Me: "You mean the lights are all solid?"

Customer: "No, they're all off."

Me: (heh heh) "I see.... Could you check and see if the modem is plugged in?"

Go figure, it wasn't.
