Today's favorite call comes from Lucedale, MS.

Me: "I-55 Internet Services. This is Jason speaking, how may I help you?"

Customer: "Geeze!! I was on hold for almost 20 minutes!"

Me: "Sorry about the inconvience, Sir."

Customer: "It's allright, it's just that I'm on my cell phone, so it's eating up my minutes. My telephone is out in the storm."

Me: (Allready trying hard not to laugh)"I see. So, are you having a problem connecting?"

Customer: "Yes, I am. I'm getting this error... 'Error 680. No Dial Tone.' What does that mean?"

Me: (Trying not to piss on myself with laughter)"Sir, you said that your phone's out, right?"

Customer: "Yeah, the rain knocked out the line."

Me: (Red faced by now)"I believe that the reason that you're getting a 'No Dial Tone' error is because your phone is offline right now."

Customer: "Yeah, but why can't I connect? Is the server down?"

(I'll leave the rest for you all, since it's almost impossible to believe, anyway)
