2(And this one is probably the funniest one I've spoken to yet) My call for today was without a doubt the funniest call i've recieved thus far. Me: "I-55 Internet Services. This is Jason speaking, how may I help you?" Customer: "I need your help, my computer is COMPLETLY locked up!" Me: "You've tried rebooting it allready?" Customer: "I can't! My keyboard doesen't respond! It's completly locked up!!!" Me: "That's allright, sir, you can shut the computer down manually by holding down the power button." Customer: (Panic in his voice)"I can't do that, it's illegal." Me: (Thinking that he's talking about an "Illegal Operation")"That's allright, sir, you can just go ahead and hold down the power button to terminate that operation." Customer: (REALLY Panicy now)"But it's ILLEGAL to do that!!!!!" Me: (Very confused about now)"I'm sorry, sir, but I'm a bit confused here....." Customer: "It's illegal to turn off the computer that way, it can damage it!" Me: "Oh, that's allright, sir, you can do it. You won't damage your computer." Customer: "Are you SURE I'm not going to get into any trouble? I don't want to get into any trouble for doing this...." Me: (Best smart-ass remark EVER)"Sir, it isin't like tearing the tag off of a mattress, no one will ever know if you do this." Later Old Stuff  |
